hi joanne, i just bought the toyomi model:to-34rc. but i don't know how to bake cake using this oven.especialy convection button,i don't know when to turn on or off it.when baking cake do i need to on convection? and also when baking cake, do i use toast or bake? hope you can help me. thank you very much
oh! you also bought this brand of oven.when you bake anything cakes, you must be turn " on" the button( press it to the left)and also bake cake should be upper and lower heat only( toast) bake kueh lapis use bottom heat. Hope you enjoy baking!

Where do you buy the matter to press the kueh lapis.Phoon huat has been out of stock quite sometime already.I want to try baking Kueh Lapis and no chance till now. Do you know where else can I find? I am staying in Choa chu Kang. Thank you in advance
Finally you have bought keedwood mixer. Think that you won't be regreted to have this cake mixer. Quite useful. No, I didn't turn to max. I only turn to speed 5 When making chiffon cake, as for bread,i use speed 2 only for 15 mins, but you must see the bread texture too. 桂皮 powder and press the kueh lapis I bought at Tao Payoh phoon huat.why not you have the chance you try go down to tao payoh phoon huat. Hope this information can help you.

From 1) to 4) do not need to use mixer right?use wooden spoon to mix even?After using mixer to beat the egg,use wooden spoon to fold the egg white into mixture.sorry that I hv not bake this before.Just to re-confirm the step.Thank you for taking yr time to answer my quiry.
1) Dissolve instant coffee in heated up milk, leave to cool 2) Place Ingredients B in a large bowl, pour in Ingredients A, mix till sugar dissolved 3) Fold in Ingredients C, combine well 4) Stir in melted butter, combine thoroughly to form a smooth batter, set aside 5) Beat egg white at high speed till bubbles is formed, add in sugar and corn flour mix, beat till soft peak form, divide into few portions and gently fold into batter, combine well 6) Pour batter into a 20cm chiffon tube pan,
hi Jo,thank you for yr info.I just completed the baking and the result is quite sucessful.The only thing I want to check up is while folding the egg white into the mixture,some of the egg white has turn to waterly.It's is normal or I did not beat enought?How long do you beat the egg white? Anyway,I am quite happy with the result.It's soft. Thanks again for yr explaination and also Auntie Irene for providing the recipe

I just use the mixture to beat egg white till firmly only. the rest use 打蛋器 to mix even.
